The simple version

What Park & Ride at Heathrow actually means

You park the car yourself, we drive you to the terminal. It is the cheapest way to park at Heathrow for anything longer than a day trip, and the part most people care about is that your keys never leave your pocket.

Our car park is a real multi-storey building in Staines-upon-Thames, roughly four miles from the airport. You drive in, a member of staff shows you to a bay, helps you move your luggage across to the shuttle, and drives you to your terminal. The whole transfer takes 8–12 minutes depending on which terminal you need.

When you land, you call the operations line, collect your bags, and meet the shuttle at the pick-up point we give you over the phone. You are back with your car within minutes of walking out of arrivals.

  • You self-park and keep your keys
  • Shuttle both ways is included in the price
  • Covered building, not an open field
  • Height restriction is 1.9m

Why it costs less than parking at the terminal. Land immediately next to a runway is the most expensive land at an airport, and the official car parks price accordingly. We are a short drive away, which is the entire reason we can charge less for a covered space than Heathrow charges for an uncovered one.

There is a second saving that is easy to miss. Heathrow sits inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone. Our car park does not. If your car is not ULEZ-compliant, driving to a terminal means paying the daily charge on the way in and again on the way out. Park with us and you never enter the zone.

  • Outside ULEZ and the Congestion Charge zone
  • Same price for T2, T3, T4 and T5
  • No unsocial-hours surcharge

Common questions

Heathrow Park & Ride FAQs

How does Heathrow Park & Ride work?
You drive to our covered car park in Staines, park the car yourself and keep your keys. Our shuttle then takes you and your luggage directly to your terminal in 8–12 minutes. On return you call us when you land and the shuttle brings you back to your car.
How long does the shuttle take to the terminal?
Between 8 and 12 minutes depending on the terminal and traffic. Terminals 4 and 5 are closest at about four miles; Terminals 2 and 3 take a couple of minutes longer. We suggest allowing 15 minutes in your airport timings.
Can I keep my car keys?
Yes. That is the main difference between Park & Ride and Meet & Greet. On Park & Ride you park the vehicle yourself and take the keys with you. Nobody else drives your car.
Do I need to call before I arrive?
Yes, and it is the one step people forget. Ring the operations line on 020 3869 0199 or 07908 086962 about 45 minutes before you arrive so a staff member and the shuttle are ready for you.
Which terminals do you serve?
All four — Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5 — and they all cost the same on Park & Ride. Just choose your terminal when you book.
Is the car park outside the ULEZ zone?
Yes. Heathrow is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone but our car park is outside it, and outside the Congestion Charge zone. If your vehicle is not ULEZ-compliant that is a daily charge avoided in each direction.
Is my car secure while I am away?
It sits inside a covered multi-storey building with roller shutters, 24/7 CCTV and staff on site around the clock — not an open field or an overflow lot.
Is there a height restriction?
Yes, 1.9 metres. If your vehicle is taller than that, contact us before booking on 020 3869 0199 and we will let you know what we can do.
How much is Park & Ride at Heathrow?
From £50 a day and from £80 a week, before the 25% XMAS25 discount. Longer stays work out considerably cheaper per day. Put your dates into the form for an exact price.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Call the operations line on landing, whenever that is. We are open 24 hours every day and we do not penalise you for an airline delay.
