Heathrow parking prices — no hidden shocks
The price you see online is your parking rate. Book ahead to lock in the lowest price — on-the-day arrivals always cost more, and space during holidays and peak weekends goes quickly.
Good to know: a small airport access fee (set by Heathrow, not by us) applies at drop-off. We show it clearly at checkout, so there are genuinely no surprises at the barrier.
Guide prices only. Final price depends on your dates, service and terminal, and is confirmed before you pay.

Looking for cheap Terminal 3 parking at Heathrow? Heathrow Car Park offers covered Park & Ride parking in Staines-upon-Thames, giving Terminal 3 passengers an alternative to expensive on-airport parking.
You park at our secure Staines site, keep your keys and take our shuttle to Heathrow Terminal 3. For longer holidays and business trips, Park & Ride can be a particularly good-value option because you avoid the premium charged for parking immediately beside the terminal.
Terminal 3 parking prices compared
How much does it cost to park at Heathrow Terminal 3? The answer depends on your dates, length of stay and whether you book in advance. For a week or two away, however, the difference between off-airport parking and airport parking can become significant.
Terminal 3 is one of Heathrow's major long-haul terminals, so passengers often need parking for longer holidays, international trips and business travel. That makes the daily parking rate especially important when comparing your options.
| Parking option | Where you park | 7 days | 14 days |
|---|---|---|---|
| Heathrow Car Park — Park & Ride | Covered multi-storey car park in Staines | from £40 | from £83.86* |
| Heathrow Official Park & Ride | Eastern Perimeter Road, Heathrow | From £46.80 for the first day alone | Considerably higher on drive-up rates |
| Purple Parking Park & Ride | Off-airport | From £89.95 | Considerably higher |
*Guide price only. The £83.86 figure is calculated from £5.99 × 14 days and should be confirmed against your live booking price before publishing. Exact prices vary according to dates, availability and length of stay.
Heathrow's own Terminal 3 Park & Ride is currently advertised with drive-up pricing starting at £46.80 for the first day, with additional 24-hour periods priced separately. Heathrow recommends pre-booking to find the best available rate. See Heathrow's official Terminal 3 Park & Ride information .
Why Terminal 3 parking can become expensive on longer trips
A one-day parking price can look reasonable until you multiply it across a two-week holiday. This is why travellers should compare the total cost of parking, rather than simply looking for the cheapest advertised first-day price.
For a seven-, ten- or fourteen-day trip, even a small difference in the daily rate can add up. Off-airport Park & Ride can make more sense when your priority is keeping the overall cost of your Heathrow airport parking down while still having a straightforward transfer to the terminal.
Best parking option by type of Terminal 3 trip
- Weekend trip: compare the total booking price and transfer convenience.
- One-week holiday: Park & Ride can offer better value than parking directly beside the terminal.
- Two-week holiday: the daily parking rate becomes much more important, making long-stay Park & Ride particularly worth comparing.
- Business travel: choose based on your preferred balance of price, transfer time and convenience.
Park & Ride for Terminal 3 — what actually happens
How does Terminal 3 Park & Ride work? The process is simple: drive to our Staines car park, park your vehicle, keep your keys and take the shuttle towards Heathrow Terminal 3.
The biggest difference compared with terminal-side parking is that your car is parked away from the airport itself. That can help keep the parking price lower while still giving you a direct transfer to Heathrow.
Step 1 — Drive to Staines, not the airport perimeter
Our car park is located at 5 Elmsleigh Road, Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 4QB. The location is convenient for drivers approaching Heathrow via the M25 and surrounding motorway network.
If you're travelling to Heathrow Terminal 3, you do not need to navigate directly into the airport's busy terminal parking area. Instead, follow the directions to our Staines location and complete your parking before taking the shuttle.

Step 2 — Park undercover and keep your keys
Your vehicle is parked inside our covered multi-storey car park, with roller-shutter controlled access and 24-hour CCTV.
The facility has 300+ numbered parking bays, making it easier to identify where your vehicle is parked when you return.
Most importantly, with our Park & Ride service, you keep your keys. Your vehicle is not moved around between different parking areas as part of the standard parking process.
Step 3 — Take the shuttle to Heathrow Terminal 3
Once you've parked, our shuttle takes you towards Heathrow Terminal 3 departures.
The expected transfer time is around 8–12 minutes, subject to traffic and airport conditions.

Step 4 — Land, WhatsApp us and collect your car
When you land at Heathrow, message our team on WhatsApp. We'll coordinate your return transfer and help you get back to the car park.
Once you're back at the Staines site, collect your vehicle and continue your journey home.

Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 share Heathrow's official car park — we don't
One detail that is easy to miss when comparing Heathrow parking options is that the official Park & Ride car park serving Terminals 2 and 3 is a shared facility on the Eastern Perimeter Road.
Heathrow confirms that its Terminal 2 & 3 Park & Ride operates from the same car park, with shuttle services taking passengers to the respective terminals.
That arrangement can work well for airport passengers, but it means the same parking facility serves travellers heading to two of Heathrow's busiest terminals.
Our model is different. Heathrow Car Park operates its own Park & Ride service from our Staines location. Our shuttle is dedicated to our own customers rather than being part of Heathrow's shared airport parking operation.
Long-stay parking at Terminal 3 — why Park & Ride can make sense
Is Park & Ride good for long stays at Heathrow Terminal 3? Yes — particularly if you're comparing the total cost of a one- or two-week trip rather than simply looking at the first day's parking price.
Long-stay passengers usually have two priorities: keeping the parking cost under control and knowing their vehicle is secure while they're away.
Our Terminal 3 Park & Ride service is designed around both. You park undercover at our Staines facility, keep your keys and use the shuttle to reach Heathrow.
Heathrow's own Terminal 3 Park & Ride is also designed for longer stays and Heathrow recommends pre-booking for stays over 24 hours to access the best available rates and guarantee a space during busy periods.
For that reason, the smartest approach is to compare your actual dates and total booking price before paying.
Long-stay Terminal 3 parking checklist
- Book ahead: longer stays and peak travel dates can be more expensive when booked late.
- Compare the total price: don't compare only the advertised first-day rate.
- Consider Flexible Booking: add Flexible Booking for £4.99 if your travel dates might change.
- Keep your keys: Park & Ride means you retain control of your vehicle keys.
- Check vehicle height: our multi-storey facility has a 1.9m height limit. Check this if you're travelling in a van, SUV with roof bars or a vehicle with a roof box.
If you're comparing all of the available services, see our main Heathrow airport parking guide for a wider comparison of Park & Ride and Meet & Greet.
Is Meet & Greet available at Terminal 3?
No. Heathrow Car Park's Meet & Greet service currently operates at Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 only.
For Terminal 3 passengers, the service to book with us is Park & Ride.
Park & Ride is particularly suitable if you're happy to park away from the terminal and use a short shuttle transfer. It also means you keep your keys rather than handing them over for a valet-style handover.
If your priority is arriving directly at the terminal and handing over your vehicle, our Heathrow Meet & Greet service is available for Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 passengers.
Why choose Heathrow Car Park for Terminal 3 parking?
Terminal 3 parking and the ULEZ: what drivers should know
Heathrow is within the London Ultra Low Emission Zone. If your vehicle is not compliant with the applicable emissions standards, you may need to pay the ULEZ charge when driving within the zone.
This is important when planning airport parking because the cost of getting to the car park can be separate from the price you pay to park.
Our Staines-upon-Thames parking location is outside the ULEZ boundary, meaning drivers should check their route and vehicle requirements before travelling.
The ULEZ operates 24 hours a day, every day except Christmas Day. TfL provides an official vehicle and charging-zone checker so you can confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
Check your vehicle with TfL's official ULEZ information
Where is Heathrow Car Park for Terminal 3?
Heathrow Car Park is located at 5 Elmsleigh Road, Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 4QB.
The location gives drivers approaching from the M25 and wider Surrey, Berkshire and West London areas an alternative to driving directly into Heathrow's terminal parking areas.
This is particularly useful for travellers who want Heathrow Terminal 3 parking without parking directly beside the terminal.
Driving to Heathrow Terminal 3 from outside London
Not everyone travelling through Heathrow lives near the airport. If you're driving from elsewhere in the UK, planning the final approach can make your airport parking experience much easier.
